I firmly believe that gender is performative and is created by the choices we make everyday. There are, of course, many traditional ideas of what masculinity means but how do those traditions manifest in everyday life? Who aligns with the traditional associations, who subscribes to different definitions of what masculinity is? When is masculinity restrictive? When is it freeing? With this project, I hope to make visible as many dimensions of masculinity as possible.

After years of building this project, I am excited to bring it to life this year.
